Last Wednesday I went with some of my BLCU classmates to Yuyuantan Park to have a picnic and watch the cherry blossom. I don’t really have anything to say except that it was fun and beautiful so I urge you to do the same before the season is over and the flowers are gone. From how it looked when we were there, and taking the recent blessed winds into account, most of them won’t make it to the next weekend so if you do plan to go there, better do it soon. Or you could just enjoy the photos I took there:
Directions and Further Information
Yuyuantan Park (玉渊潭公园) is located on the western side of the third ring road. It’s right between subway lines 1, 10, 9 and 6 though neither of which has a station close to the park gates so you will need to walk 10-15 minutes or take a bus. Tickets are 10 yuan (5 for students).
