Last Sunday I had the pleasure of attending the first Beijing Food Camp at the Jin Tai Art Museum right next to Chao Yang Park. It was a great event. People came together to teach, learn, discuss and share their passion for food. The range of topics was wide, from simple Chinese cooking tips to how to start a restaurant business in China. I learned about the art of pickling, the craft of composting, the trade of organic food hunting and much more. But maybe most important of all, was finding out that baijiu and milk tea go really well together.
Here’s a set of photos I took at the event. I must say the jin Tai art museum has great natural lighting.
